WHAT IS CATHOLIC BIBLE STUDY?
Catholic Bible study, (CBS) is a group of lay evangelists who are dedicated to teaching the Word of God to Catholic and Non-Catholic people alike. CBS uses the commentaries and program written by Father James O'Bryan, entitled "Invitation to Christian Discipleship" (ICD). CBS follows Father O'Bryan's guidelines and format, and works to ensure the goals of ICD. All CBS evangelists wish to serve by presenting the materials of ICD, and have varying backgrounds of education and experience.
ICD uses lectures, group discussion and home
study as dynamics in truth seeking. ICD is designed to be more in depth
than a Bible sharing program but can be used to include the new student who
does not want home study in the beginning. Catholic Bible Study, (CBS) is a group of lay evangelists who are dedicated to teaching the Word of God to Catholic and

MOTIVATING CAUSE
The motivating cause for the formation of the Catholic Bible Study is to preserve and impart the Christian Faith as understood and transmitted by the Catholic Church through the centuries. These courses have four immediate aims:
1. To incite a true spirit of repentance.
2. To foster a deeper commitment in faith to Jesus Christ.
3. To create a greater awareness of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
4. To encourage a more vibrant participation in the life and mission of the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Bible Study of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish meets Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 AM (Presenter-Maurice Bernier), and Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM (Presenter-Maurice Bernier).
